A Vehicle

A Vehicle for Miracles:

No matter what happens, remember where we’re going. Remember where you’re going.

There are many ways to say the same thing — keep your eye on the ball; stay the course; believe in miracles; be the change you want to see in the world; hold a bigger vision…

Miracles aren’t rare, they’re ubiquitous. Happening all the time. Every moment. There are so many infinite ways to put yourself in the flow of that, in the cause of them. To remember there is so much more going on in the world that feels good than feels bad. It just doesn’t get reported in the same way. You often have to go looking for it. And when you do, you put yourself in partnership with it because you have put your attention on it.

When you put your attention on it—while you’re driving, while your meditating, while you’re talking with your customers, reading on the internet, making a meal, kissing your love, fixing the light, talking with the doctor, going for your walk, play—you make more of it.

My dad once said to me, “sometimes you have to succeed in spite of us.” Because he couldn’t see what was possible, or fully understand my work, or understand my abilities. But he believed in me anyway.

You’re a vision maker or you wouldn’t be here reading this. You have a beat inside you that wants to see the world and yourself happen ever more beautifully regardless of what you see going on. And when the upheaval or trauma is going on—in the world, in you, in a loved one—it becomes ever more important to listen and dance to that beat.

To hold a frequency of joy without attachment that lifts those across the planet or across the table.

Remember why you chose the one you love or why you’re calling in the one you will; why you created the business or chose the job you’re in; why prosperity and your healthy, fit body matter to you; why your potential matters to you; why you want to make the world a better place; remember the kind of parent you intend to be; and why you have any of the intentions you have.

And if those reasons aren’t valid anymore, what is?

Tend your frequency of joy. You’re the only one who can. And it matters. Make space for nothingness and trust its everythingness. Miracles are made by it. Synchronicities are made by it. Love is moved. Lives elevated. Creative words spoken. A better world.

“You should sit in meditation for twenty minutes every day
– unless you’re too busy; then you should sit for an hour.”
~ Zen Proverb

Here’s to more of You in this world,

Shelley
